Danny Willett Treats Himself to $220K Post-Masters Gift

Sure, win a Green Jacket and $1.8 million (bank a ton of FedExCup points) and all of a sudden you’re on top of the world, right?  Well, Danny Willett needed just one more way to celebrate his Masters win and he took a page right out of Ian Poulter’s playbook.

The young Englishman went out and bought himself a $220,000 Ferrari; a white California T to be exact.  Willett commented, “I’ve wanted one for a long, long time and I said, ‘You know what, if I can’t buy one now then I’m never going to’.”

Now Danny must put down the champagne and begin to focus on golf again and THE PLAYERS this week, believe it or now, is the first time he’s swinging a club (in competition) in four weeks.  We’re sure he’ll be ready to go and in fact, he shot a -2 (70) in his opening round at Sawgrass this week.

We love seeing the crazy purchases that TOUR players make after they win big.  Heck, Bubba went out and bought a minor league baseball team not too long ago and Jordan, well let’s just say his new seven million dollar mansion has more cool things in it then we will ever have in a lifetime.
