If you played any amount of fantasy football over the last ten years, you know about Danny Woodhead. The guy was a fantasy football monster.

He wasn’t the biggest guy on the field by a long shot, but the dude went hard every single play.

Now that he’s retired from the NFL, he needs something else to fill that competitive drive.

Of course, he ended up finding his way to golf, but unlike many retired athletes, he’s making moves that could land him with the big boys.

He just made it through to the final round of US Open qualifying. Danny is an incredibly likable guy.  So much in fact, that even the golf gods threw him a bone with this putt.

He’s also a Sub 70 golf brand guy, so for me, that’s all the more reason to cheer him on. If he can advance to the US Open, Disney can start writing the movie now.

Who doesn’t love a good sports story, right?

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
