New equipment launches are coming fast and furious.  The Stealth is all but confirmed by TaylorMade following Tiger’s appearance at the PNC, more details about Callaway’s Rogue ST should be coming in soon.

But it’s time for someone else to have a moment.

Leaked images from what appears to be a Cobra 2022 product brochure show the LTD X, along with LS (low-spin) and MAX (high forgiveness) variants.

Fortunately, the limited description confirms that Cobra’s CNC Milled Infinity Face will be making a comeback (following its first introduction in the SpeedZone), albeit with H.O.T. Face Technology that, similar to Callaway Golf, looks to leverage artificial intelligence to design a face that features 15 “HOT” zones and varying thickness to increase ball speed on off-center strikes.

Also making an appearance is the RADIAL WEIGHTING that made its first appearance in the LTD X’s predecessor, the RADSPEED.  With the help of strategically placed weight ports and varying adjustable weights, the LTD X looks to heightened forgiveness and ball flight adjustability.  Notably, Cobra is touting that the LTD X will be the first zero COGna driver, making it Cobra’s fastest and most forgiving model yet.

The LTD X drivers will be completed with fairway woods in LS (low-spin) and standard variants.  It also appears from the brochure that the drivers and fairways will all feature adjustable hosels to add or take away some loft.

Notably, Kyle Berkshire just crushed the ball speed world record with a TrackMan verified 233 MPH drive, more than 10 MPH over his previous personal best of 221 MPH, with what appears to be a bonded hosel LTD X in his hands.

233 MPH sounds like it could only be achieved in a video game.
