Emiliano Grillo Goes Full-Blown Sergio in Bunker at Olympics

A few years back, Sergio Garcia took his frustration out on a bunker in what became one of his most infamous outbursts while he was on the PGA TOUR.

Emiliano Grillo aimed to match Garcia’s freakout as he went haywire on a bunker at Le Golf National in France at the Olympics during the second round.

Grillo was not happy with a bunker shot he hit on the 9th hole on Friday, sending it well over the hole and leaving him with what would have been a routine two-putt for professionals. Although it would have been a bogey, it would have been good damage control and a good opportunity to let go of what was a poor shot with plenty of golf to play in the tournament:

Grillo would compound his mistakes through the next several holes, finding bogeys at 10, 12, 13, and 14, and sending him tumbling down the leaderboard.

Grillo finds himself in 35 at -1. He was +4 on Friday during the second round.
