EQUIPMENT: Callaway Bringing Jon Rahm’s Putter to Market

While a majority of golf equipment is available to consumers, there’s a special niche of custom, TOUR-exclusive equipment that manufacturers generate and never see the consumer market.

Well, on July 28, 2023, Callaway will be bringing to market one of these previously TOUR-only products: Jon Rahm’s White Hot OG Rossie S.

This Limited Edition version of the Rossie S is built just like Jon Rahm’s—it has no sight lines, a Microhinge Star insert for a firmer feel, a stepped steel shaft, and the same Tour Authentic Pistol grip that Jon uses.

It is unclear how many of these putters will be brought to market (rumors are suggesting just 500), but Callaway has announced a 1-per-customer policy. The lucky few, however, will have the option to pick up Rahm’s White Hot OG Rossie S in 3 different lengths: 33″, 34”, and 35” (Rahm, however, plays his putter at 37”).

Rahm switched to this putter in during the Memorial Tournament in 2021, i.e., right before Jon went on to win the 2021 U.S. Open at Torrey Pines’ South Course. Rahm followed that up by entering one of the hottest parts of his career, culminating with the 2023 Masters Championship.
