EQUIPMENT: First Look at North Coast Golf Company Golf Gloves

Earlier in the year I visited the Chicago Golf Show to meet with vendors and see what’s coming to the golf market in 2020. While I was there I stopped at the North Coast Golf Co booth. They where kind of tucked in between two golf resorts so I almost missed them.

I spoke with their rep for a minute and felt their gloves. They felt soft and I liked their look but I wanted to see what a club felt like in my hand. We exchanged cards and a few weeks later I had some samples at my door.

I love the simple, classic look of these gloves. They fit nicely to my hand and they are soft. I tend to buy gloves by another brand because of how they look and feel. My concern with these gloves at the show was if they would grip a club because of how smooth they where.

After removing them from the package and trying them on I can say that they hold onto the club nicely. I plan on trying these gloves out into my net and when courses open up, out in the field. The North Coast Golf Co gloves run about $26 each. The quality seems to be solid, they look good and feel like they are built to last. How will they hold up? More to come on that.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
