Miura Golf, manufacturer of the world’s finest forged golf clubs, has announced the highly anticipated unveiling of the new KM-Baby Blade iron. Regarded as “Miura’s Masterpiece”, the Baby Blade is more than a club; it’s a philosophy—an approach born of mastery through repetition, refinement through honesty, and craftsmanship through restraint. The limited-edition KM-Baby Blades will be available for pre-order beginning October 7th.

Available in 3 (21º) through Pitching Wedge (47º), the KM-Baby Blade is 15% smaller than Miura’s traditional blade, but it delivers a level of feel and feedback few clubs achieve. Forged with the same mass, lofts, lies, and head weights as the MB-101 model, every gram of the compact KM-Baby Blade is compressed into focused energy, rewarding golfers with unrivaled precision and unmatched feel.

This limited edition of the Baby Blade features Miura’s Y-Grind sole, a component not found in previous releases of the iron. The addition merges Miura-san’s original vision with his son Yoshitaka’s signature grind which is designed to enhance turf interaction. By refining the leading edge and sole geometry, the Y-Grind allows the club to glide more cleanly through the turf, improving consistency and versatility without sacrificing the precision that defines a blade.

The Hanko Stamp, which is reserved for the company’s most treasured designs, is proudly featured on this new version of the KM-Baby Blade. Miura-san’s iconic red stamp of approval represents the purest form of a Miura product in every way: uncompromising in design, meticulous in detail, and dedicated to the artistry of the strike.

Bill Holowaty, COO, Miura Golf, said:

“The KM-Baby Blade is leaner, more exacting, and engineered for the golfer who seeks ultimate control and workability. “Our goal with the creation of these new KM-Baby Blade irons was to reward commitment and help players realize that they are better ball-strikers than they believed.”

Anthony Newville, President, Miura Golf, said:

The KM-Baby Blade is not for every golfer, but rather a model reserved for players who embrace the challenge and the reward of precision. With its stripped-down design, it speaks to the purist, the traditionalist, and the golfer who values craftsmanship and feel above all else.”

Hoyt McGarity, CEO of 8AM Golf, said:

“Unlike mass-produced irons, the new KM-Baby Blade is a symbol of exclusivity, crafted in limited batches for discerning golfers who value artistry and performance over compromise. For players and collectors alike, it is not just an iron, it is Miura distilled to its essence, a piece of history returning.”

Ever since golf became a competitive outlet, nothing brings Eric more joy than a well struck 4 iron. And despite living in NYC, Eric makes it a priority to work on his game and fitness during the week, along with a round or two over the weekend. Fortunately, he’s got a very understanding fiancé who (for the time being) accepts him and his obsession. Follow Eric on IG @hozel_rocket.
