Fast and Furious Actor Lucas Black On The Bag for Champions Tour Event

It seems for now actor Lucas Black has turned in the keys to his sports car for a nice pair of walking shoes, the “lamborfeeties,” as some call them.

Black, an actor whose roles include appearances in NCIS, Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift and “Furious 7”, and is set to appear in the 9th installment of the “F&F” series later this summer, is trying something new for this week’s Champions Tour Event.

With plenty of golfing experience, including playing in high school and as an amateur at the PGA Tour’s Pebble Beach National Pro-Am, Black felt that he had a lot to offer, and a lot to learn from Craig Bowden, who he’s been caddying for this week at the Chubb Classic.

“I’m learning a lot out here,” Black said. “Craig is teaching me a lot, so it’s awesome.”

The two, apparently, have been really good friends for a while, making Black an easy choice for Bowden, who’s playing this week on a sponsor exemption.

“Lucas and I have been friends for 13,15 years, something like that,” Bowden said. “This is the maiden voyage (with Black as his caddie). We spoke a lot on the phone, and I help him with his golf swing from time to time.”

As of right now, it seems that Black and Bowden have been working well together. After an even par first round, the pair bounced back with a 4-under 68 for the second round, thrusting Bowden into the top-25.

While the final round has not yet come to a close, Bowden and Black look to make a surge for the leaderboard. He’s currently 8-under for the weekend, and is at this current moment tied for 10th.
