Firestone Country Club to Host 2022 U.S. Mid-Amateur Team Championships
The U.S. Mid-Amateur Team Championship is an annual golf tournament comprised of amateur golfers over the age of 25. Given the success of this past year’s championship at Creekmoor Golf Club in Kansas City, the field has been increased from 20 to 40 state teams, while also adding a Women’s Championship for amateur golfers over the age of 23.
The host of the 15th Annual U.S. Mid-Amateur Team Championship will be the renowned Firestone Country Club—which has hosted the PGA Championship three times. The event is set to take place from August 4 – 7, 2022.
