FlightScope Debuts its First Laser Rangefinder

For 2025, FlightScope is debuting its first crack at a laser rangefinder. But the i4 looks to do much more than just giving you the distance to your pin. Rather, the i4 looks to give you your adjusted distance to the pin.

For those of you who aren’t following me, the i4 is powered by FlightScope’s Patented FlightScope EO (Environmental Optimizer) Technology and AI Smart Gapping and will leverage each player’s launch monitor data and environmental conditions—including temperature, elevation, wind speed and direction—to give personalized club recommendations for each shot you face.

Don’t have access to a launch monitor or know your data for every club? With the Smart Gapping AI Tool users can input one or more of their carry distances (or club launch conditions for the more technical golfers), and get an instant report with carry distance, launch angle and spin rates for every club in the bag—ensuring accurate personalized club recommendations.

But if you do have access to a FlightScope launch monitor, you can complete a gapping session that stores representative shots to capture launch characteristics and distances with every club in the bag. Once complete, the FS Golf App integrates the data, allowing the i4 to function like a virtual caddie. Data from other brands’ launch monitors can also be plugged into the FS Golf App manually or through a CSV file. Furthermore, there are zero additional fees or subscriptions associated with the i4 or FlightScope launch monitors.
