FootJoy and Harris Tweed have renewed their partnership to introduce a unique collaboration that sparks style and elegance for the 2023 Open Championship at Hoylake.

After FJ and Harris Tweed released the Black Watch Packard in 2021 and the Shawbost Collection for last year’s 150th Open at St. Andrews, the collaboration brings “a true embodiment of modern elegance” to Hoylake with unique patterns and styles.

FJ and Harris Tweed used Hoylake Green cloth and added it to the Premier Series Wilcox and Field models to tailor a special look that is perfectly designed for this weekend’s tournament, which is the final Major Championship of the year.

The Hoylake Wilcox now boasts a “captivating touch with the inclusion of the renowned Harris Tweed fabric, gracefully adorning the saddle.” A bronze FJ logo finishes an epitome of the perfect blend of heritage and modernity. Luxurious, supple uppers and enhanced with a navy heel, which complements the look and colors, locks in a near-perfect look that encapsulates the tradition of The Open Championship, with specific touches in an ode to Hoylake.

The Hoylake Field brings a slightly different look as the heel is fitted with the Hoylake Green Harris Tweed material that was specially designed for this collaboration. A tasteful accent exemplifies the design of the shoe and Harris Tweed’s attention to detail, but it’s not all about the look. Fitted with a VersaTrax+ outsole, the shoes are engineered for optimal traction and stability in all conditions.

The shoes will be on display by FootJoy brand ambassadors like Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Wyndham Clark, and Billy Horschel during this weekend’s 151st Open Championship at Hoylake at Royal Liverpool.

You can pick up your own pair from select retailers on August 3.
