A group of golfers paid a touching tribute to their friend who passed away earlier this year by spreading his ashes at Bandon Dunes, where he planned an annual golf trip for the past 21 years.

Golf trips are somewhat of a ritual for many friend groups, as they are an opportunity to, once a year, forget about all of your responsibilities and instead focus on the game we all love and cherish.

The memories made on these trips are forever, and one group paid tribute to those memories by spreading the issues of their friend Dan, who had planned a Portland golf trip for a bunch of friends that had lasted 21 consecutive years.

Dan passed away in April, but his memory lives on, especially as it was the first trip without him since it started in 2002.

Bullfrog111, who took the video, is a caddie at the Bandon Dunes Resort, which is located on the coast of Oregon just ten minutes from the town of Bandon.

This beautiful tribute from the group of friends is a great reminder of how golf brings us together. RIP Dan Anderson!

Inspired by the likes of Woods, Palmer, McIlroy, and Koepka, Joey plays over 100 times a year in the South Central Pennsylvania area. When he isn't golfing, he is probably thinking about golfing, but he might be watching other sports, writing, or playing poker.
