GOODBYE 2020: The Best Shots On The PGA TOUR From Last Year

Despite the chaos caused by COVID-19, the 2020 PGA TOUR season was fantastic. We saw Dustin Johnson overcome Major championship demons to win the Masters by 5, the young, budding superstar Collin Morikawa conquer the PGA Championship, Bryson “The Hulk” DeChambeau silence his critics and win the US Open, and those were only the majors.

From a season filled with spectacular moments, it was hard to pick my favorite moments – and when I did, it was even harder to put them in order. But here they are, my top moments from 2020.

(unranked because I couldn’t make up my mind)

Jon Rahm Seals the Memorial with a Tiger-Like Chip

Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas Go Back-to-Back in a Playoff

No Title

In the first playoff hole of the 2020 Workday Charity Open, Justin Thomas made his birdie from 50 ft. then Collin Morikawa matched with a birdie of his own from 24 ft.

DJ Forces a Playoff, but Jon Rahm Seals it with a BOMB

Tom Brady’s “F**k You Charles” Hole-Out

(I know this isn’t a shot from TOUR, but I’m a Pats fan so it had to go on the list)

Collin Morikawa’s Tee Shot on 16 at the PGA

Collin Morikawa’s Bunker Splash at the TOUR Championship

(man, he’s on here a lot – the kid’s good)

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
