Ever since a few of the PGA TOUR’s more popular names decided to leave for the LIV, the thought has been who’s next?

Well, we have one answer on someone who is staying firm with the tour and that’s Harold Varner III.

The 31-year-old is rising up the ranks of fan favorites and one major golf fan had something to say about a possible departure from the PGA Tour.

Micheal Jordan has reportedly convinced Varner to stay with the tour and not jump to the LIV according to the Sports Business Journal.  Not surprisingly Varner is listening to his boss (Jordan brand) but also his friend.

Varner has yet to win on the PGA Tour. Joining the LIV definitely guarantees a lot of money upfront but if Varner is looking to build a legacy, then Jordan is a good guy to listen to.

Now does this mean it will never happen?

Not likely, but my guess is you can lock Varner in as a PGA tour player for the next ten years without any doubt he will be there, ready to compete and eventually win.
