Here Comes Tiger, Again

This morning Tiger Woods released a statement on his website saying he’s hoping to return to competitive golf next month at the Safeway Open (formerly known as the Frys.com Open). The event will be held from October 13th – 16th in Napa, California.
Hoping to play in Napa, Turkey, and Hero in the Bahamas. Can’t wait to compete again. https://t.co/cuNUTQv0NW

Woods also intends to compete in the Turkish Airlines Open, Nov. 3-6, in Antalya, Turkey, and the Hero World Challenge, the Woods Foundation-run event, Dec. 1-4, at Albany in the Bahamas.
“My rehabilitation is to the point where I’m comfortable making plans, but I still have work to do,” Tiger said. “Whether I can play depends on my continued progress and recovery. My hope is to have my game ready to go.”
Of course, we’ve all seen this movie before. And most of the time it’s left us either disappointed or cringing…or both.
Tiger is also still using words like “hope” in his statements, so I wouldn’t start making travel plans to see his return just yet.
