Holy Hole-in-One Wednesday at The Masters!

Before we talk about the plethora of aces at Wednesday’s Par 3 Contest, here’s a recap of last night’s Masters Champions dinner, hosted by Jordan Spieth.

In case you missed it, here’s what they ate:

Who doesn’t love some good ol’ Texas BBQ?   Meanwhile, Wednesday was all business as the boys headed out to the Par 3 course for an annual fun competition. Rory McIlroy skipped the contenst, but was seen out early at the tournament practice area.

In other news, while some people looked for Bubba, we think he may have been hanging around creating some fresh Bubbamojis?

So now on to the Par 3.  Okay, the holes are shorter than normal, but come on, all these aces in one day?

First there was Webb Simpson. He dunked one in and it looks as if Bubba us not impressed. Or maybe he’s working on a new emoji look.

Then there was Andy Sullivan.

Then past Masters Champ Zach Johnson dropped an “uno”.  No one thought this had a chance when they saw where it hit the green.

David Lingmerth got one, too. “That’s too long,” he says. Or not.  This one was epic.

Then it was Jimmy Walker’s turn.

Then the man named after an emoji, Smylie Kauffman, sunk one. He was very smyl…happy. #dadjoke

Then Rickie Fowler and Justin Thomas got involved. First, there was JT:

Back to back, now how awesome is that?  Even with the awkward high-five/hug thing that happened right after.

Then 80-year-old Gary Player (who stopped by The Golf Podcast not long ago) one-upped them all. Because HE’S EIGHTY.

The Par 3 contest also means family time for a lot of the pros. As usual, Dash Day made an appearance.

Mini-Snedeker was walking the course with his dad.
