Honma Launches Mobile Experience Hubs Across North America

A common complaint among golfers who get fit is that they are rarely conducted outdoors. However, some of the premium brands, like Honma, have sought to cure that by launching mobile, outdoor fitting hubs. And to help ensure more golfers are afforded this opportunity, Honma is launching additional Mobile Experience Hubs across North America.

Honma Golf has recently welcomed a new team of master club fitters to staff its Honma Mobile Experience, outfitted with sleek, purpose-built Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans that deliver personalized fitting experiences to private golf clubs, public/resort courses, and other golf facilities in Boston, the Carolinas, Colorado, and Ohio in the U.S., as well as Toronto and Vancouver in Canada.

Expert Wedge Fitting will also be offered at every Honma Mobile Experience, showcasing the T//World W4 wedge, which can be further personalized with artistic stamping done by Wedge Wizard Jacob Sanborn’s Custom Workshop .

The individuals who have recently joined the Honma team collectively brings more than a half century’s experience and include Anthony Fagone in greater Boston, Hunter Smith in the Carolinas, Kyle McGee based in Colorado, Jim Troy in Ohio, as well as Cameron Jacobs in Toronto, and Vancouver-based fitter Taylor Hull.

“Our team of hand selected Mobile Master Fitters is going to bring the best experience to those who want to play better golf. An opportunity to work with the best-crafted equipment in the world while showcasing the brand across the States is a dream for a club and fitting expert,” said Smith, who has worked in the PGA TOUR department of a major equipment brand.

Similarly, McGee, a member of the Colorado PGA Section since 2015, brings experience and enthusiasm to his Honma Mobile Experience clients. “I am excited to join the Honma team and help to grow the brand here in North America. Each Honma Mobile Experience, a combination of scheduled fitting events and private appointments, has been created to deliver an unparalleled fitting session that will help players identify the perfect family of Honma clubs for their game.

Each Honma Mobile Experience fitting will provide golfers the opportunity to test a full matrix of Honma’s hand-crafted heads and proprietary shafts, as well as leading third-party brand shafts during the 1:1 personalized fitting session. Each master fitter will conduct the experience with a state-of-the-art Foresight GC Quad launch monitor is integral to each experience, which includes a follow-up email with launch data and equipment recommendations, and provides a direct pathway for the player to interact with the brand.

The new Honma Mobile Experience will join the three exclusive fixed-location fitting destinations that opened earlier this year and have been dubbed the Honma Experience, located at Reunion Resort & Golf Club in Orlando (FL), Ko Olina Golf Club in Oahu (HI), and The Golf Performance Project, Victoria in Victoria (British Columbia).
