Jim Nantz is Getting his Own Golf Clothing Line

Jim Nantz is in the broadcast booth for CBS for almost every major golf championship, making him just as visible as the top golfers on the PGA TOUR.  And because he’s such a common voice around the game, Vineyard Vines has decided to launch a golf apparel line in his honor.

Vineyard Vines is typically known for their necklaces and their apparel with the whale logo but with Nantz, they will be breaking into the golf scene. According to the partnership, the line will be modeled off of Nantz’s golf interests on and off of the course. The brand will also be for a variety of people, with options for men, women, and children.

Nantz is extremely happy about the partnership. “I am elated by the new golf lifestyle brand we are creating that will reflect a love for the sport and the virtues it represents.” Nantz said. ” Golf is a central part of my life and I look forward to working with the great folks at vineyard vines to create an authentic golf apparel brand that speaks to the golfer.”

The deal was easily developed because Vineyard Vines and Nantz already have a partnership through a philanthropy program called the Forget-Me-Knot collection. While that clothing line will continue to run, the Nantz golf collection will be coming out as soon as the Spring of 2019. Just in time for Nantz to debut it for the Masters.

Being the voice of golf, I’m very excited to see exactly what the Nantz collection will include. And since there is so much time until the apparel line is unveiled, we’re expecting pretty big things from the new brand.
