Send Your RSVP: Jon Rahm’s Master Champions Dinner Menu

The Masters is filled with traditions, with one of the first being the announcement of Tuesday’s Champions Dinner menu, which is selected by the defending champion.

After winning the 2023 Masters, Jon Rahm was very transparent in the following interviews, saying that his menu would have a strong Spanish influence, with special pastries and ham. And it seems now that the menu has been confirmed, that Rahm hasn’t been swayed.

To kick things off, Rahm will be serving Iberian ham, Idiazabal cheese, Spanish omelets, and chicken croquettes. Before getting into the mains, a crab salad will be served. That will be followed up with Basque ribeye, named for the cows that hail from a region in North Eastern Spain.

I had Basque steak on one occasion during vacation, and to this day, I believe it’s the best piece of beef I’ve ever had. For the non-meat eaters, turbot, a white fish, will be served with some greens.

As Rahm also alluded to following his win, the dessert will be Milhojas, a Spanish custard cake that translates into “thousand sheets” and draws inspiration from France, similar to an Italian Napoleon.
