Congaree Golf Club now has a new joint course record holder – with Rahm signing for a 62 despite a bogey on the 18th hole. Rahm took only 22 putts while making over 125 feet of putts and carded ten birdies en route.
He has been fairly vocal as of late regarding LIV Golf and commenting on the statements given by other pros like Phil Mickelson. Despite this, he is committed to securing another win early on in the 2022/23 season.

Currently ranked World #5, Rahm is a huge name that keeps the golf competitive on the PGA Tour – and he is showing it this week at the CJ Cup, in a field that includes 15 of the top 20 in the world. Rahm won in Spain recently and is in fine form as he looks to close out the CJ Cup amongst a stacked leaderboard including Tom Kim, Rory McIlroy, Tyrell Hatton, and Shane Lowry. Rory lies three shots back, trying to defend his win here last season, which would cement him back to World #1.
