Jordan Spieth DQ’d in Star-Studded JP McManus Pro-AM

The 36-hole event that started just yesterday (Monday) Jordan got DQ’d. Spieth made a mistake on the 14th hole without even realizing it.

He picked up the ball because his score didn’t matter for the team aspect since they already posted a better score without his ball.

A simple mistake that led to a DQ for Spieth.

However, in the individual event, Spieth is DQ’d, but will still be in the next round. He will be allowed to play in the final round today with his team just not the individual aspect. Spieth wasn’t playing the best in round 1, +1 over 13 holes.

Currently, his team is 11 shots behind Rory McIlroy’s team in 1st place. 

Some Notables: Xander Schauffele is leading at -8, 3 shots over Rickie Fowler who carded a solid -5. Brooks Koepka shot a -3, Colin Morikawa -1, Rory McIlroy -1, Justin Thomas Even Par, Scottie Scheffler +3, and Tiger Woods +5.
