The second round of the HSBC Champions was in full swing yesterday in Shanghai, which was being led by Branden Grace after an impressive opening round of 63.

Going into the second round, Kevin Kisner was just one shot behind on -8.

In the second round, Kisner continued his form, where he shot a round of -6, knocking Grace off top spot.

The American didn’t take long to start holing birdies, as his first came on the second, followed by three consecutive birdies on the 6th, 7th, and 8th.

He finished his round in style, birdying the 16th and his final hole 18, to end up at the top of the pack at -14, two shots clear of Russel Knox, and three shots clear of ex-leader Brandon Grace.

Big names who are further behind in the pack are Rory McIlroy, Jordan Spieth, Martin Kaymer and Rickie Fowler, who are all at -4.

The tournament is still all to play for, and with many players slowing climbing the leaderboard, I’m sure we are still set to see a lot of changes over the next two days.
