Kevin Na Calls Out The PGA TOUR Over Tiger Woods Winning PIP

Kevin Na is generally a guy who keeps to himself and doesn’t get too involved in controversy. He stays in his lane and walks in his putts but that all changed today with his reaction on Twitter to Tiger Woods winning the 2021 PIP.

Tiger Woods wins the $8Mil PIP! I’m all for paying @TigerWoods because he made us all richer but he didn’t hit 1 shot in 2021. @PGATOUR how is this possible 🤷🏻‍♂️ 😃 also I thought @PhilMickelson won. Did this result have any affect in the last 2 weeks? haha 🤔

Shots fired here by Na, but I do think that he may just have a point here. At least about Tiger not playing at all in 2021.

Although it never said that you had to play on the PGA TOUR in the year to win the PIP money I’m sure all of the players assumed it. Tiger is going to win this money for the rest of his life as long as they keep giving it to him because everyone in the game of golf loves Tiger. No matter what the paparazzi take a picture of him doing the internet blows up about so it only makes sense that he gets the most clicks.

He’s also the G.O.A.T. and that without a doubt is going to draw attention to him even from just casual golf fans or people who don’t know golf at all. Like during his car accident last year everyone in the world knew Tiger was injured and that he might not ever walk again.

Na’s last point has me a little lost. Yes, Phil Mickelson has been under a lot of fire the past two weeks for what he said about the PGA TOUR and Saudi Golf League but the PGA TOUR said all along that these numbers would take months to calculate. Although it seems fishy, I’m not buying it.

Tiger will continue to draw attention for many, many years to come. This isn’t over yet.
