Korn Ferry Tour: Andrew Kozan Wins for The First Time After Missing 11 Straight Cuts
Andrew Kozan, 23, wins for the first time on the Korn Ferry Tour after snapping a horrible streak of 11 missed cuts. The amount of relief and extra confidence going into the final tournament of the regular season will pay dividends for Kozan.
The Auburn graduate is in his first season on the Korn Ferry Tour and still has time to solidify his spot in the “25” regular season points list.

Breakdown of “25”
What is the regular season 25? This includes the top 25 players in the point list after the conclusion of this week’s tournament, the Pinnacle Bank Championship. Kozan still has a chance to sneak his way in if he gets his three-way tie for 3rd or better. However, there is another chance for Kozan, if he is unsuccessful in the regular season, to play in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals (KFT).
KFT Finals
The Korn Ferry Tour Finals features three events that include players from both the Korn Ferry Tour and PGA Tour. The players that finished outside the “25” and are in 26th-75th will have a shot at securing a card and Nos. 126-200 on the FedExCup but also includes non-members and ones with medical extensions. The points will reset, and the remaining 25 PGA Tour cards will be handed out after the conclusion of the finals.

Emotional High
An emotional ride and victory this past Sunday for Kozan will help him feel that sense of belonging out on the Tour and also something to build upon, knowing he can win against some great professionals. Even though Kozan likely could never have dreamed of missing 11 straight cuts and snapping that streak with a win, it couldn’t have come at a better time.
