Life On Tour As Caddy Isn’t As Glamorous As You May Think

We have all heard stories about how tough PGA TOUR caddies have it on the road, but Joel Dahmen’s caddie Geno Bonnalie shared a picture of his living arrangements this week at Pebble Beach which proves it first hand.

Four different PGA TOUR caddies will be sharing this room in the Pebble Beach area.

Look at that picture, four grown adults all kicking it on twin beds for the week.

I hope for their sake Joel and their other three players finish in the top 10 this week so these guys can have some extra money for their own hotel room next tournament.

On Geno’s tweet of the photo his caption said, “For a caddie, lodging near Pebble can be a little expensive…But not when you divide that by 4!!”

I can’t imagine these four guys are going to sleep well this week. Hotels are tough enough to sleep in when you’re in your own room with all the noises coming from the air conditioning and outside your room in the rest of the hotel. Just imagine when someone has to get up for an early morning tee time, everyone else is going to be woken up too.

We’ll see how it goes this week for the players but keep these caddies in mind as you’re watching them carry the 50+ pound bags around out there.
