LIV Golf Team Opens New ‘Live from the Locker Room’ Series to Show What Goes on Behind the Scenes

LIV Golf Team Majesticks GC, which features Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter, and Henrik Stenson, are opening a new series known as “Live from the Locker Room,” which is the first all-access content series from a group of players on the tour.

Along with the three players, team General Manager James Dunkley have opened their doors and turned on the cameras to show fans what goes on in a professional golf locker room.

The team describes the series:

“With a focus on enhancing the fan experience, this series will provide behind-the-scenes access showcasing discussions of what it’s like to build a sports franchise, the nuances of a team sport, and life as a professional athlete.”

LIV Golf has become a team sport through its format and through its partnerships, which have been signed by individual teams and have included apparel brands, for example. However, this is a first-of-its-kind deal with the content series, and as hot as golf content creation is in today’s world, this is sure to do well.

Considering the charismatic personalities of the three LIV Golfers, fans are sure to tune in and see what goes on in a LIV setting, just as they did for the Netflix series “Full Swing,” which attracted millions of viewers in its inaugural season.

The first episode has already been released and is available on YouTube. It features “timely crossovers between Majesticks and Ryder Cup Europe,” as the tournament between the Americans and Europeans just happened last weekend. 

The three golfers have 24 combined Ryder Cup appearances, so the episode features plenty of commentary from the trio regarding notable stories and experiences.

There are more episodes on the way, and each one will drop with “exclusive early access to the Majesticks fan base.” Fans will also have a say in what goes on in each episode, as the team will take requests from viewers on topics of discussion.
