With the azaleas in full bloom and the Par 3 Contest wrapped, Round 1 of The Masters is set to begin on Thursday, and if you’re looking to cash in on a few wagers, we’ve got you covered.

Here’s everything you need to know about betting Round 1 of The Masters.

The Odds on favorite to win is Jon Rahm at +1,000 based on Caesars SportsBook.

Rounding out the top five consecutively are Justin Thomas at +1,400 , Dustin Johnson at +1,600 , Cameron Smith at +1,600 , and Scottie Scheffler at +1,600.

Justin Thomas seems to be the most solid bet amongst the top 5.

While Dustin Johnson has won before and Scottie Scheffler currently sits at no. 1 in the world, Justin Thomas seems to have been ramping his game up to peak at the right moment.

Just outside the top 5 sits Rory McIlroy, who many are avoiding with his past Masters history, but his scores following a missed cut suggest some intrigue at +1,800. Some consider Brooks Koepka a sure top 10 finish; you can currently wager that outcome at +200 on DraftKings Sports Book for a bit of action.

Some sleeper bets to consider might be Kevin Kisner and Tiger Woods making the cut.

At +15,000 on DraftKings Sports Book, a $5 wager could currently net $755 if Kisner keeps up his putting stroke as he did at the Dell Match Play while tackling Augusta National, just a short drive from his home in Aiken, S.C.

For Tiger to play at the Masters, he has to believe he can win, so it’s no surprise that Tiger has emerged with the most wagers in quite a few categories. When asked, he said, “I do.” With that information from Big Cat, a bet at +105 is a bet worth taking.

Round one will begin with some gusty winds. A nice sneaky wager is Sepp Straka to be the first round leader at +10,000. With an early tee time before the wind gets whipping, Straka has a chance to emerge ahead of the field before the gusts become too lively.

Whatever wagers you choose, have fun but don’t overextend yourself. There are plenty of ways to use modest wagers that turn into something bigger with a bit of Masters magic.
