Miura Releases New Milled Tour Wedge High Bounce
While most equipment launches are staged earlier in the year right around the PGA Merchandise Show, every once in a while a manufacturer will release a new product that’s been tailored to a specific event and the playing conditions that the pros will be encountering.
This year was no exception, and with the PGA Championship taking place at Bethpage Black, premium Japanese club manufacturer Miura Golf released a brand new Milled Tour Wedge High Bounce (HB). Indeed, Miura’s PGA Tour Ambassador Abraham Ancer put the new wedges right into his bag for the PGA Championship at Bethpage Black, which helped propel him to a T-16 finish.
Miura, who’s reputation for premium golf forgings precedes itself, newest wedge delivers the same soft feel that golfers have come to adore. The tour inspired head shape inspires confidence and assists with pinpoint accuracy.
Made with premium soft carbon steel, the Tour Wedge HB boasts a wider sole that tapers from toe to heel, allowing for a more effective bounce along the middle of the sole. The added C Grind (heel and toe relief) and camber (front to back relief) also increases playability and forgiveness.

As briefly mentioned earlier, Miura’s renowned forging process has produced a grain structure within the Tour Wedge HB head that is the tightest in the industry. This is particularly noteworthy because while the new wedge does not pursue distance like other clubs, the focus is the precision and control necessary for scoring, which is exactly what you want from your wedges.

Miura Executive Vice President, Jason Rutkowski, commented on the Tour Wedge HB, stating, “We’re extremely excited to expand upon the success of our Tour Wedge product line with the introduction of Tour Wedge High Bounce (HB). The new design elements should appeal to more golfers, specifically those that have a steeper angle of attack on wedges.”
The Tour Wedge HB wedge is available for purchase through authorized club fitters and on Miura Golf’s website, with lofts available from 50° through to 62° in 2-degree increments to help configure the perfect set of scoring clubs.
