MUST SEE: Michael Jordan’s Old Clubs Are Legendary!

Michael Jordan is universally known around the world as the greatest basketball player of all time ( don’t come at me Lebron fans).

His hyper competitive nature made very game a must win. Not long into his career he picked up golf as a way to escape. Little did he know at the time that it would become a full blown obsession (I can relate).

With all that talent and money it’s no shock that Jordan has had the ability to get any set of clubs he wanted. One of those sets was what many club junkies consider the holy grail. The Ping Eye 2 BeCu’s are still expensive and it’s no surprise that the Airness had his customized to the max. Complete with his jump man logo this full set still looks beautiful today.

I’ve got a set of Eye 2’s myself but much like my basketball game, they don’t compare to Jordan’s. Not only did he have the full set of pings but he also had a custom Scotty with 1996 stamped into it. The greatest single basketball season ever.

I know Golden State won an extra game but 72-10 has a better “ring” to it. I stole that from a commercial. Former Bull Scott Williams discusses how he gained this special set of golf clubs on the Fully Equipped podcast from golf.com.

Such a great story for an amazing set of clubs.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
