Rory McIlroy joined Jimmy Fallon last night to talk about the PLAYERS, Red & Black tribute at the WGC, and Tiger. He went on to share some things about Tiger’s condition.

“He’s doing better. Hopefully, if things go well over the next week or so, he might be able to get home and start recovery at home.”

Like Bryson, Rory said that Tiger texted him before the final round of the Arnold Palmer to wish him luck. He also said that Tiger was the first one to text him after the round…

“Even from the hospital bed, he’s still giving me some heat.”

I love the image of Tiger in the bed, still having the fire and sarcasm to give his buddy Rors a hard time about his final 18.

We’ve all been waiting for the next update on Tiger and how he’s recovering. Now, hopefully, he’ll be heading back home to his family to start the long road of recovery.

The golf world misses you, Tiger.

I grew up in southern New Hampshire, where I first fell in love with the game of golf. I started by just going out and messing around with my buddies and focusing purely on having a good time! I never took golf seriously until I moved down to Tampa, FL to attend the University of South Florida. Go Bulls! At the start of my junior year I got a job working as a cart boy at a local private country club. This is when I started to focus on golf becoming my career. During the fall of my senior year, I turned from a 14 handicap, to a 2. I passed the PAT scoring test my first try and haven't looked back.
