Only Female Winner on DP World Tour Picks Up Another Victory in Improbable Fashion
Linn Grant already holds the record as the only female golfer to win on the DP World Tour.
Now, she’s done it twice – setting another record along the way.
Grant, 24, won the Volvo Car Scandinavian Mixed in Sweden by a stroke over Sebastian Soderberg and Calum Hill after chipping in for birdie on the final hole.

The chip-in capped an 11-stroke comeback by Grant, catching and passing Soderberg with a 65 compared to a 77 by the latter.
It looked like the tournament would be destined for a playoff, but Soderberg missed a gimme putt on the final hole.
Wow, nightmare stuff at the #VolvoScandinavianMixed.
Sebastian Söderberg had an 11 shot lead over Linn Grant. Seb shot 77 & missed this putt on 18. Linn closed with a 65. Wow. This was crazy. 😵💫. Congrats to Linn on her 2nd @DPWorldTour 🏆 pic.twitter.com/5lv1nIeRLb— Pro Golf Critic (@ProGolfCritic) June 9, 2024
The 11-stroke comeback was also the largest in DP World Tour history.
Grant said:
“I honestly feel terrible for Sebastian at the moment. I don’t even have words for it. I can’t imagine how he feels. At the same time, I am just surprised.”
The tournament is a joint event with the DPWT and Ladies European Tour. The tournaments are played concurrently, but the women hit from a different set of tees.
Grant, who also won this tournament in 2022, now has 12 professional wins, including one last year on the LPGA tour.
