Links golf is full of challenges. From numerous bunkers, high grass, and of course the winds that can take a 130 yard shot and turn it into a 200 yard battle.

What you don’t think about is the little things that are placed around the course for a tournament. Like a fence for instance.

Gary Woodland experienced one of these unique challenges first hand at The Open…

I feel bad for him. He’s in a Major tournament and his plan was probably a good one if not for they pesky fence.

I don’t know how he finished this hole but I’m willing to bet he didn’t like his score.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
