Recent 1st-time winner at Pebble Beach this year, Tom Hoge had the opportunity this week to try Mr. Hogan’s golf set on the range this week. He was first given the hardest club to hit in the golf bag, the good ol’ 1-iron.
Hoge did well with Hogan’s clubs and enjoyed the experience of trying them out for himself. He was even able to hit the 1-wood (driver) 276 on the fly.

It would be interesting to know how far Hoge would hit the golf with this 1-wood if he had the time-appropriate golf balls to use as well! All that aside Tom Hoge mentioned that the ball didn’t seem to be going too far as he was using the irons.
Hoge even jokingly said that he might need to put them in the bag this week! It would be interesting to see PGA TOUR Pros have one tournament a year with vintage clubs!
