Poulter took a practice round over the weekend to start getting familiar with the Centurion Golf Club in London. Ian already is having good luck and excellent golf in his homeland of the United Kingdom.

Ian was shocked by what happened to him on the 17th hole of his practice round. He was playing a doubles match play event for a little golf fun when the unthinkable happened.

Ian Poulter started filming when he proclaimed to the group and his partner that they had won the match, with 2up with one to play unless the other group could hole out. It was a special moment between father and son as it appeared to be his son Josh on the video call. Poulter shared the moment with his son who was in pure disbelief and wanted his Dad to get a hole-in-one when they were playing together!

It’s possible that Ian’s good golf will continue as he will likely thrive in the team format the Liv Golf will feature this week starting June 9th. The solid Ryder Cup player could turn over a new leaf at this stage in his career. Stay tuned for the official teams that will be announced tomorrow. You can watch the event on YouTube or at livgolf.com starting Thursday.
