Rickie Fowler’s Ball Got Stuck in a Tree and He Needed Binoculars to Identify it

Rickie was rolling pretty good in the second round of THE PLAYERS until he caught a bit of bad luck in the form of his ball being stuck in a palm tree.

Fowler used a pair of binoculars to try and find his signature orange marking and officially identify the ball as being his…which would help him avoid a lost ball penalty.

He even enlisted the help of the gallery as they shook the tree to see if they could rattle the Titleist loose.

In the end, Rickie was not able to provide a 100% identification of the ball as being his, so he had to head back to the tee and take his lumps with a lost ball penalty.
