Saturday’s Conditions at THE PLAYERS Are INSANE!

Due to heavy rain and thunderstorms THE PLAYERS Championship did not begin on Saturday until 12 p.m. but it was to complete the first round.

The Stadium Course at TPC Sawgrass has taken on 4.8 inches of rain since Wednesday. The winds on Saturday are 20-30 MPH with gusts north of 35 MPH and the temperatures are not Florida like with it being 60 degrees at 1 p.m. and dropping down to below 50 degrees by 6 p.m.

Each of the first four players to tee off on 17 hit their ball in the water. These weren’t just any players, they were four of the best players in the world. Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Brooks Koepka and Collin Morikawa.

Needless to say, we are going to see some big numbers on Saturday.
