Scotty Cameron Launches NEW Phantom Putters – Including THREE for Leftys
Scotty Cameron has launched five new Phantom mallet putters today with the 5.2, 7.2, 5, 11, and 11 Long Design models. Three of them are also finally available for left-handed players!
Each of the new Phantom putters are unique in its own way, but the 5.2 and 7.2 feature the popular Wingback head shapes and are crafted with an I-beam plumbing neck. The neck helps with alternative toe flow properties and alignment benefits to the shaft and neck configurations already offered in the Phantom lineup.
There are also three left-handed offerings with the Phantom 5, Phantom 11, and Phantom 11 Long Design.
The Phantom 5 is compact in its head shape, which is a winged mallet design, and features a near-face balanced setup with a mid-bend shaft.
The Phantom 11 is a face-balanced, high-MOI, multi-material mallet while the Phantom 11 Long Design is the same at the head but has a 38-inch counterbalanced configuration, heavier grips, stiffer shafts, and heavier headweights.
Phantom 5.2 and 7.2
Phantom 5.2
Using the Phantom 5 head shape, the 5.2 features the I-beam style plumbing neck, helping with toe flow than the Phantom 5 but less than the jet neck of the Phantom 5.5

Phantom 7.2
The Phantom 7.2 features the Phantom 7 head shape but also equips the I-beam style plumbing neck. The advantages of this include alignment, stability, and MOI.

Left-Handed Models
The Phantom 5, Phantom 11, and Phantom 11 Long Design will all be available in left-handed versions, here’s what each one offers:
Phantom 5
Near-face balanced with a compact wingback mallet head design, the Phantom 5 also has a sight dot alignment and mid-bend shaft. The face is made with 303 stainless steel while the sole is made of aluminum.

Phantom 11
The Phantom 11 is a high-MOI, face-balanced mallet with a mid-bend shaft and arrow alignment features. Titleist says this putter has a “multi-material construction consists of a solid precision milled 303 stainless steel face, topline, body and wings that are integrated with an aluminum flange and sole component.”
Phantom 11 Long Design
The same as the Phantom 11 but with a stiffer, 38-inch mid-bend shaft and heavier head as it is equipped with tungsten sole weights, this putter is ideal for the player that has overactive hands, helping them use their shoulders to maneuver the flatstick.
Words from Scotty Cameron
“The Phantom 5.2 and 7.2 models come directly from our team’s work on the worldwide professional tours with some of the most discerning players in the game. As the demand for mallet putters has increased, so have the requests for different configurations of our models. The plumbing neck is a familiar, confidence-inspiring design to so many players, so its inclusion on the Phantom 5 and 7 putters is a natural evolution for both models. In addition, we wanted to add more left-handed putters to our lineup. We felt that the Phantom 5, 11 and 11 Long Design models gave our left-handed golfers a range of options with three unique setups.”
Availability
Each of the new models are available for pre-sale on January 29 and will hit golf shops on February 14.
Each putter will cost $449, with the exception of the Long Design, which is $499.
