SkyTrak Quick Tip: Alignment Mode

Proper alignment isn’t just for the golf swing while you’re zeroing in a shot. It’s also critical for the SkyTrak setup when you power the device on. Being misaligned during your practice session leads to misreads and worse, bad habits in your golf swing.

In this SkyTrak Quick Tip we show you how to align your SkyTrak to the target using the built in alignment feature.

It only takes a few moments to double check and once you’re square, you don’t have to do it again for the rest of your practice session. The SkyTrak will shoot out two dots in the hitting area. Use the two dots to ensure they are in a straight line to your target. I suggest using two alignment rods.

One slides into the alignment rod channel on the FMJ mount if you have one, the the other can be setup on the two alignment dots. This gives you a better visual to see if your SkyTrak is aligned properly. That way you know those  long drives don’t just look good, they are playable too.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
