SPOTTED: Is This Callaway’s 2023 Driver?!
We’re approaching what I like to call “Debut Season.” Specifically, the Hawaii swing, where all the OEMs let their 2023 models see the first bit of daylight when they provide them to their Staff players and interested TOUR golfers.
Callaway, however, may have experienced a leak, as we may have received an early Christmas present.

Pictured is what appears to be the Callaway PARADYM, in the Triple Diamond variant. Immediately noticeable is the dark blue colorway, which appears on the traditional Callaway carbon crown as well as the new forged carbon sole. The top line features a matte black alignment section, like the current Rogue ST model, as well as chrome accents on the sole plate and rear weight.
Visible technology cues include JAILBREAK, which has become a staple technology in Callaway’s metalwoods, and the potentially all new FORGED Ti (titanium) face. The latter is particularly interesting to me because Callaway has made their A.I. designed faces, which feature a unique wave pattern on the backside of the face to increase forgiveness, a centerpiece technology. Because I anticipate that will remain in the PARADYM, it will be interesting to see what benefits this new forged face offers and the manufacturing changes that were made to incorporate the new technology.
It will be interesting to see how the PARADYM performs and whether guys like Jon Rahm and Xander Schauffele will add it to their bags. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait much longer now that we know what Callaway has cued up for 2023. Now all we need is for TaylorMade to let their new offering see some daylight.
