STYLE: adidas Golf Releases the No-Dye Collection
adidas Golf has become very adamant in recent years in accomplishing two things: (1) provide golfers with premium, high performance apparel; and (2) develop apparel that is environmentally friendly. To help demonstrate its commitment to these two goals, adidas is releasing a limited edition collection that shows you don’t always need color.

adidas’ No-Dye Collection features an entire upper section made entirely with the material’s natural colorway.
This no dye technology works by removing the pre-treatment phase of conventional dye techniques, in an attempt to limit water usage. By using the material in its natural form, adidas uses on average 60% less water and energy when making the collection.
As a result, the no dye technology is becoming another area adidas is looking at to be more sustainable in an effort to help END PLASTIC WASTE.
The No-Dye Collection collection will feature three different models: the adicross ZX PRIMEBLUE and the ZG21 Motion, with and without BOA.

“We’re continually evaluating ways to reduce our environmental impact when it comes to our products,” said Masun Denison, Global Director of Footwear, adidas Golf. “With this collection, we’re giving golfers another reason beyond just style and performance to feel good about the shoes they’re wearing.”

New to the range for this season, the adicross ZX PRIMEBLUE is inspired by the Originals ZX series. The no dye version features the same adiwear and Traxion outsole for the grip golfers need, coupled with the signature Torsion bar for added stability. The textile upper is made with yarn containing a minimum of 50% Parley Ocean Plastic as part of our mission to help END PLASTIC WASTE.
ZG21 Motion / ZG21 Motion BOA

adidas has redesigned the upper of the ZG21 so it can be made in part with recycled materials that is made with a minimum of 50% recycled content.
The ZG21 will also introduce a new BOA model for men and women that features a sock-like opening for added stability and the new PerformFit Wrap powered by the BOA Fit System; a ‘Y’-strap design that creates a secure fit over the instep and provides flexibility and freedom in the toe box.

For anyone interested, adidas will be releasing additional ZG21 colorway options for both laced and BOA models.
The No-Dye Collection will be available worldwide on adidas.com, the adidas app and at select retailers on Friday, August 20th.
