TECH: TruGolf Debuts INSTANT IMPACT Tech with APOGEE
TruGolf is, arguably, the gold standard for indoor golf simulators. And while numerous other brands have entered the marketplace during the past few years, few can brag that they are a favorite among professional golfers, college teams, pro and dedicated amateurs, including Dallas Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott, former NFL Wide Receiver/Icons Series player Brice Butler, and Longtime Golf Professional Mike Malaska. And in an effort to capture more of the consumer market, TruGolf has released the APOGEE.
APOGEE is a USA-made, proprietary ultra-high-speed stereoscopic camera launch monitor. And when combined with TruGolf’s all-new INSTANT IMPACT image analysis algorithm, APOGEE looks to provide a no-lag simulator experience with highly accurate Club and Ball data, including: Ball Speed, Back Spin, Side Spin, Vertical Launch Angle, Horizontal Launch Angle, Club Head Speed, Club Face Angle, and Club Path. And to make sure you can instantly digest each swing, APOGEE provides all of this information alongside its Point of Impact replay video for each swing.

Unlike simulators that most of are accustomed to, APOGEE does not require special golf balls—no special markings or stickers necessary—or reflective stickers on your club. Instead, just grab your gamer setup and swing away.
And to even help enhance the simulator experience while minimizing computer interaction, APOGEE is equipped with voice commands. Using the “Hey APOGEE!” Voice command allows users to navigate gameplay and adjust settings inside E6 CONNECT. Less, including asking APOGEE to help you read a putt, show you the trouble around that sharp dog leg, change the weather to something a bit more dramatic for the tie-breaker, or tee up a breakfast ball (again).
APOGEE is one of the most significant advancements in simulators in recent, and comes from one of the most reputable brands in the simulator industry.
TruGolf CEO Chris Jones said:
“We are thrilled to announce the launch of APOGEE, given the monumental growth of indoor golf over the last few years… This is an exciting time for the golf simulator market. In addition to launching a product that meets the needs of the golf industry, our diverse group of ambassadors comprised of golf experts like Mike, and Zeke and Brice who are driven by their passion for the game, makes for a compelling testament to APOGEE’s appeal to golf fans of all skill levels.”

TruGolf has been a pioneer in the golf technology space for more than 30 years. Specializing in golf simulators and virtual golf software, the company recognized the unique growth opportunity of indoor golf as a solution to the problems facing the game.
Jones said:
“Whether we are talking about Pace of Play, drought, or public course closures – we know that one of the main strategies to successfully grow the game and retain all these new players is going to happen indoors”
Last year, the National Golf Foundation estimates there were over 24 million off-course participants.
APOGEE works in tandem with E6 CONNECT, the industry standard in golf simulation software known for its intuitive user interface and highly detailed course recreations. Users will receive access to more than 90 World Class Courses, in addition to 4 unique driving ranges, 13 short game ranges, statistical tracking, and more.
APOGEE goes on sale on November 15, 2022, making it an ideal Christmas gift option for some lucky golfers.
