In an interview with Golf Digest, Woods said that instead of focusing on getting back to golf, he’s putting his energy into rehabilitation.

“I understand more of the rehab processes because of my past injuries, but this was more painful than anything I have ever experienced. My physical therapy has been keeping me busy. I do my routines every day and am focused on my No. 1 goal right now: walking on my own. Taking it one step at a time.”

Taking it one step at a time may not be as easy as it sounds. Included in the injuries sustained during the February 23rd car crash were fractures to his tibia, fibula, ankle and foot. Woods needed a rod surgically implanted into his leg, as well as screws into his ankle and foot.

Despite his experience with rehabbing from various injuries, this is a different animal to say the least.
