Topgolf follows the trend and signs with the Saudis

Topgolf is following the new trend in golf: take Saudi money.

The Topgolf Callaway brand announced today that it would enter a multiyear agreement with Golf Saudi Entertainment, LLC, bringing its family of brands to Saudi Arabia.

Golf Saudi will also build three Topgolf venues in Saudi Arabia by 2028, which will be owned by the LLC. 

Additionally, the brands under the Topgolf Callaway umbrella, which include Callaway Golf, Odyssey, TravisMathew, and Ogio, will become the official apparel brands of the Saudi Men’s, Women’s, and Junior National Golf teams. 

Elite Saudi golf professionals will also use the brands as apparel sponsors.

Ben Sharpe, Managing Director and President, EMEA for Callaway Golf said:

“We’re excited to enter another market in the Middle East with three venues in Saudi Arabia. We have found a strong partner in Golf Saudi to help us bring our modern golf brands – Topgolf, Toptracer, Callaway Golf, Odyssey, Ogio and TravisMathew – to the region and help transform Saudi Arabia into an exceptional golfing nation.”

The announcement comes just a few weeks after Topgolf and Callaway announced a strategic plan to separate the brands.
