TRENDING: Imagine Getting 58 Penalty Strokes In Two Rounds?
The NFL isn’t the only group that’s having trouble with rules. Lee Ann Walker who competed in an LPGA sanctioned event in French Lick Indiana wasn’t aware of a recent rule change.
You may remember earlier this year there was some controversy over caddies standing behind players when they lined up their putts. This is against the rules and if you do this, you will be penalized.
After Shooting an 85 and a 74 in her Senior LPGA event, Walker was hit with a BIG penalty. She had to add 42 penalty shots to her opening round and another 16 to her second-round score as reported by ESPN.
Her 85 and 74 turned into a 127 and a 90. It’s a hard lesson to learn but I’m willing to bet that going forward her caddie will be nowhere near her before she lines up her next competitive putt.
