Tyrell Hatton and Tony Finau Are in Talks with LIV Golf: Report
It was foretold that Jon Rahm was the prime mover – the first domino in a long line of many – that would open the floodgates for the mass exodus to LIV Golf.
After the news broke earlier this week, it seems Yasir and the PIF have set their targets on other names, with Tony Finau and Tyrell Hatton now in talks with LIV. Allegedly, Hatton is lined up to join Rahm’s new team.
Tony Finau will be joining LIV Golf imminently. Sources have told me that Tyrrell Hatton is also in negotiations as we speak.

Within the next week or two we will see more players heading for LIV. The framework agreement needs to go through imminently to prevent further bleeding. It seems that golfers are betting they will be allowed back on the PGA Tour in future – if the merger takes place then it makes sense that there are no longer term repercussions for the decision to take the lucrative LIV signing bonus upfront.
Tony Finau was already a fan favorite, but gained massive popularity after being featured in the Netflix documentary “Full Swing,” and Hatton has gained fans this year with some incredible on course performances, as well as some funny mic’d up moments. At times he can toe the line between passion and arrogance, but he is an asset to the Tour and one of the best golfers in the world.
If these new rumours are true, the PGA Tour needs to act soon to prevent a flood of names signing with LIV.
