WATCH: Parapalegic Beats Odds, Learns to Golf Again
Following a spinal cord injury, Twitter user Dustin-n-Bustin was told he’d never walk again. Three years later, he’s not only overcome those odds, but he’s also picking up the clubs again.
As part of physical therapy, he’s starting to hit balls again, and it’s a sight to behold.
3 years ago I was told I may never walk again. Today I was practicing full golf swings at physio. Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible. If @PhilMickelson can win at 50 a 34yr old paraplegic can try! #golf #para #SpinalCordInjury #DreamBig #mindovermatter pic.twitter.com/fODW26GP0h

Inspired by Phil Mickelson’s improbable victory at the PGA, the 34-year-old is proof that the mantra “you can do whatever you set your mind too” isn’t just reserved for professional golfers.
With the video circulating through Twitter, Mickelson caught wind of it and offered some words of encouragement.
Your belief and work ethic is inspiring. Keep at it and you have all my support.

Dustin-n-Bustin said he’s very much looking forward to getting out on the course again. With his work ethic and drive, it seems there is nothing he can’t accomplish on his journey to recovery.
