WATCH: Van Rooyen Hissy Fit Claims 1 Victim, with 2 Close Calls
The conditions at Pete Dye’s Ocean Course are really starting to drive some of the competitors insane. Indeed, Dustin Johnson—the current World No. 1 ranked golfer—became the first top-ranked golfer to not make the cut in 2 consecutive majors since Greg Norman in 1997 after shooting +6.

Despite making a fool out of himself, there is no excuse for what van Rooyen did. The childish outburst nearly injured a fan (Close call No. 1) when he smashed the tee marker out of frustration, and then nearly injured a colleague’s caddie (Close call No. 2) when he went back for more and broke the club head off his iron (Victim No. 1).
