The always vocal, always boastful Phil Mickelson has gone radio silent over the last two weeks since his “private” comments got him in hot water. Politics aside, the man is an incredible player.

So the question many golf fans have is when will he play again? Well it doesn’t look like any time soon.

According to Dan Rapaport, Phil has yet to register for THE PLAYERS Championship next week a Sawgrass.

Is this an oversight or a move he’s making to let the waters calm a bit?

Phil had been around way to long to think that this is an oversight.

He’s obviously playing it safe but if we don’t see him at the Masters, we have to start asking more questions.

Ed started playing golf when he was 18. It started out as a hobby and something he liked to do but by 2014 it had turned into a full blown obsession. Since then Ed has committed himself to improving and learning more about the game. He doesn’t work in the golf industry, he’s not a teaching pro, he’s a guy who just loves the game and enjoys sharing his thoughts with others who share the same passion.
