16-Year-Old Wins Playoff to Qualify for Korn Ferry Tour Event
Imagine going to your high school prom, but with your Tour Card?
Sixteen-year-old, Anthony Purcea battled his way to the Monday Qualifier for the Korn Ferry’s Club Car Championship, which begin Thursday. The high schooler shot an impressive 66 to put himself in contention for a spot in a 4-man playoff that lasted 4 holes.

Last year this talented golfer won his first AJGA tournament. He not only won the tournament, but he finished an incredible 12-under par. There’s no doubt this tournament play this will give him the confidence needed for the Korn Ferry Event this week and who knows, we could see him in some big events if he stays on beat.
