206 MPH: This Cobra Commercial Will Get You Fired Up (Or Make You Angry)

Bryson is at it again. Swinging out of his shoes like a long drive hitter to set some new records with speed and distance, and I’m kind of digging it. 

In this commercial, Cobra introduces BAD (Bryson A. DeChambeau) to RAD, their new driver.  The commercial made me want to go out and swing 400 driver swings.  But I can see how it can make some people angry – seems that people have had “enough” of the swinging for the fences videos.

Just peeking through some of the comments on Instagram, people go on to say the ad is terrible.  Another comment theme was “Why is Bryson swinging like he’s leaving the PGA TOUR to join the Long Drive circuit?”   Now, I like Bryson and I think the guy is onto something and I’m rooting for him. 

I think a lot of people have already thrown him into this category of “guys NOT TO LIKE on TOUR” and have completely stopped caring about what he does both on and off course. Also, I’m sure he learned a thing or two from Long Drive Champ Kyle Berkshire.

I love what Bryson is doing for golf, despite the negative comments.  Now as for this commercial, it doesn’t hype me up to buy the RAD, as I still believe you need to be fitted. But like I said, I gets me hungry to go bomb a couple drives on the range.
